An Invitation from Nenzen Sensei

There is a distinct quality of peace found only when we sit together. Our Sunday Program is more than just a visit; it is an invitation to receive the Treasure of Sangha — the living community of practitioners who support, challenge, and mirror our own path to awakening within a shared container of practice.

Only on Sunday mornings do we offer beginning meditation instruction, a Dharma Talk from our teachers, and social time for connection.

We warmly invite you to join us — to share the insights and experience within the warmth of a community that values your presence.

Practitioners are welcome to join our daily Zazen. Please visit our Daily Practice page for additional details & to register in advance.

Jikoji offers a wide variety of programs, events, Zazenkai, Sesshins (retreats), and workshops for both beginning and more advanced practitioners. Please visit our Events page for more information. Reservations are required.

Jikoji is available to individuals for self-directed retreats. Visit our Retreats & Rentals page for rates, reservations & availability.

Jikoji is available to compatible groups who wish to use our facilities to hold private retreats. A verified 501c3 status is a requirement. For additional information, please contact our Guest Manager.

Jikoji maintains a Caretaker Program for those seeking to intensify their practice with our on-site Sangha and help maintain and run Jikoji in service to our universal Sangha. We offer shorter-duration Work Study and longer-term residency opportunities.
