Koshu Jesse, our Shuso for Winter Practice Period, will engage with the Sangha at a Shuso ceremony. The shuso ceremony marks a significant leadership milestone in a Zen practitioner's training and celebrates the community's practice together over the Winter.

According to tradition, there is a question and answer period, where the Shuso (Head Student) shows his understanding of practice gained over the Ango.
