Join us as we spend an extended weekend honoring the memory of Jikoji's founder, Kobun Chino Otogawa Roshi. Our Kobun memorial will be held at Jikoji and will be available over Zoom.

We begin with a social dinner on Thursday night. Our formal program starts on Friday with a full day of sitting, teachings and remembrances. Saturday continues the program until after lunch when our traditional afternoon Kobun Readings begin, with a discussion of selections from the Kobun Archive.

Our weekend honoring Kobun Roshi continues into Sunday morning. During our regular Dharma Talk, we will hold our traditional Memorial Service and Procession to the Kobun memorial site, offering incense while chanting the Daihi Shin Dharani.

All are welcome! Please sign up below to register for the Sesshin. Meals are provided.

Those attending will be asked to help with various duties during sesshin, including doan-ryo, kitchen assistance, serving meals, and cleanup.
