Jukai Ceremony
We welcome the Sangha back to Jikoji as we briefly open for one morning, during our winter break, for the Jukai ceremony for Geoff Mitchell.
“Jukai” means “receiving the precepts”—a heartfelt step in committing to an ethical, compassionate way of living based upon the Bodhisattva precepts. Sharing this ceremony as a sangha is a reminder of how our lives are intertwined as we support one another on the path.
All are invited to celebrate Geoff’s taking of the precepts.
